Marv has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in Students Personnel Administration in Higher Education. Marv Has worked for University of Michigan, Concordia University, and Eastern Michigan in student-life, as an adjunct professor, and as basketball coach.
