About Montezz:
Raised in Detroit, Montezz Allen is a graduate of Oakland University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. Following this accomplishment, he attended DePaul University (Chicago, IL) where he earned a Masters of Arts degree (journalism) in 2014. He is a proud first-generation college graduate.
While in Chicago, he worked as a Sports Anchor at NCTV17, a Sports/News Reporter at Urban Broadcast Media and an Assistant Producer at WBBM-AM Newsradio — the No. 1-ranked news radio station in Chicago.
He also made frequent guest appearances on WCIU's "The Jam" and The D & Davis Sports Radio Show at "670 The Score."
In 2019, he joined 41NBC (Middle Georgia) as a sports reporter where he covers nightly highlights and interviews local sports figures.
Montezz is the author of two books ("Watch your Words" and "Stay in the Game") and cites the late Kobe Bryant as one of his all-time favorite athletes.
In his spare time, Montezz loves to workout, travel, shop for the latest fashion and spend time with his family.
